Any Apple Silicon Mac with 16GB+ RAM works. CondorBox uses the BYO (Bring Your Own) model — install it on your existing Mac and subscribe monthly. No special hardware required.
Yes. All AI processing, file storage, and communications stay on your Mac. The only data that leaves your network is a lightweight heartbeat (software version and health status) used for update checks — no personal data, no conversation content, no browsing history. Your photos, messages, files, and AI conversations belong to you.
CondorBox runs local LLMs via Ollama: 9B (Starter), 27B (Family), 35B Mixture-of-Experts (Pro), and 122B Mixture-of-Experts (Max). Every tier includes chat, coding, tutoring, and writing modes. Models run entirely on-device using Apple Silicon’s unified memory.
